What is Past Continuous Tense?
Past Continuous Tense is used to describe an action that was happening at a specific time in the past. It shows that the action was in progress and had not finished at that moment.
Structure
Subject + was/were + verb (-ing) + object

When Do We Use Past Continuous Tense?
